Photos from our Adoption in Ukraine
These are the first photos we took of the boys.
We had met them about 3 hours before these photos were taken.
The boys' first bath with us.  We had met them 2 days prior and this was our first night in Kiev with them.  The loved taking a bath and still do!
The courthouse where the boys legally became ours.  Not at all what we expected for a courthouse!
It's official. We're now legally a family!! What a day!
The boys with T, our translator.  The boys LOVE her.  So do we!!
The boys first shopping excursion and dinner at a restaurant.  Our main facilitator J, was in Kiev for the weekend.  So we were able to meet her for dinner.  She is sooo incredibly beautiful, inside and out!
We happened to be in Kiev on the weekend of a holiday called "Day of Forgiveness".  T took us to this celebration.  These women were singing and dancing and telling stories.  It was fantastic, even though we didn't understand much of it!! On this holiday, you are to forgive everyone that has wronged you and then everyone eats pancakes!
Max's group at the orphanage.  Max and Nicholaus are in the snowman hats. All these kids were sooo sweet!!
Nicholaus' group at the orphanage.  Nicholaus and Max are on the right in the snowman hats.
This was taken when we went back to get the boys after the 30 day wait.  They are now ALL ours!!
Now we head home!
